When you type a name, location, or similar term into a search tool on this site, that query is sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Bronx County Inmate Population does not keep its own database of those search terms.
Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, we may keep the message and the reply information long enough to respond and manage the request. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless required by law.

New York agency-record requests are governed by New York Freedom of Information Law, including Public Officers Law Sections 87 and 89, not by this Privacy Notice.
